In this title we are going to be looking at a wide range of vocabulary relating to food and groceries. We'll cover meal times, reading menus and placing orders in a café. We will also look at important shopping vocabulary such as food quantities. These chapters are very practical and can be used if you need to practice role plays and conversation questions.

In this title we'll be looking at how to talk about everyday activities such as sport, health and free time activities. Do you know how to talk about your fitness regime in Spanish? And can you name the parts of the body, and say if they hurt? We'll go through these and other issues. Then we'll cover what you like to do in your free time and how to plan a social occasion in Spanish. Finally we'll consider TV, film and music vocabulary and how to give your opinions on them. You may want to keep a pen and paper with you for taking notes, as well as a Spanish dictionary for looking up new words.

We will also think about the differences between countries and learn about comparatives, words you use to compare two things or places. Then we'll cover talking about problems the world faces and what you would do about them. We will look at the conditional tense and its use in talking about the world and things you would do in the future.

Throughout the title we will deal with various grammatical points, particularly the present tense. When you have mastered the rules it will give you a buzz when you get the correct answer, just like when you solve an equation correctly in maths. Following that, we will look at talking about the working world in Spanish, from work experience placements to writing a CV and applying for jobs. This in particular will help with your formal language skills which are important for written assignments. It's essential to be familiar with the tenses and know how to construct them in the exams.
