16/06/10 – GCSEPod on BBC Radio Hereford and Worcester
GCSEPod was on BBC Radio Hereford and Worcester yesterday. The reporter visits Bewdley School and Sixth Form Centre in Worcestershire, where he talks to students and teachers about their experience of using the GCSEPod subscription service.
Assistant head Geraint Thomas is enthusiastic, saying "when we started with a pilot of 20 [iPods], within about 12 hours I had the whole of Year 11 knocking my door down, not for the iPods but for the GCSEPod resources". Students commented on the portability, with one student saying that she can revise whilst at tennis, "instead of having to carry around loads of books".
