Character is important in To Kill a Mockingbird; each person is very carefully drawn by Lee, whether they are a major character dramatically significant to the plot or a minor character who serves to illustrate a point. Many of the characters are based on the people who populated Harper Lee's own childhood, in the small Southern town of Monroeville. Our central characters are the Finch family and we become very close to this family, understanding how they feel and their views on life. We really believe in Harper Lee's characters, and will consider them in detail in this title.
Reviews
This really helps to understand ALL of the characters.
