Work and Social Life

In this title we will look at how to talk about your relationships with others and your thoughts on social issues. We will also think about careers and your plans for the future. This might include plans at sixteen-plus and again at eighteen-plus. For instance, you may want to pursue further study or find a job straight after school. It's an important theme to know in French because it enables you to use the future and conditional tenses in your writing and speaking exams. Many students also try the world of work through work experience placements or internships. It's good to be able to report back in French to tell people what these were like, using the imperfect and perfect tenses. Bonne chance avec vos études pour l'avenir.
