School
Subjects / Physical Education / PE, Sport, and Competition
In this title we are going to look at the role of schools and how much influence they have in encouraging people to participate in exercise and physical activity. We will look closely at what schools can offer their students, and in particular how physical education can play a really important role in increasing participation as well as in supporting the stronger, more 'sporty' students. We'll also think about activities that take place outside of regular PE lessons and look at what's on offer to students in the way of extra clubs and activities. We will finish off by looking at why your school may have stopped serving chips in the canteen and is now dishing out more salads and foods that are classed as being healthier.
