Islam is the second largest religion in the world, and has followers in many different countries. In this title, we will look at the main beliefs of Islam, especially concerning God, or Allah. We will also consider some of the most important ideas about the religion. Muhammed (peace be upon him) was the founder of Islam, so we will look at his life and how Islam came into existence. We will consider the basic values of Islam as shown in the Five Pillars and explore some of the most important Islamic teachings. It is important to remember that the name of the religion is Islam, but the people who follow the religion are called Muslims.
